On July 18, 2026, after years of hard work, the author successfully conducted the first flight of a one-off prototype aircraft. Despite experiencing mechanical turbulence shortly after takeoff and an exhilarating climb, the flight ultimately went smoothly with a safe landing. Post-flight evaluations revealed issues with the aircraft's center of gravity and control, leading the author to consider adjustments to the stabilizer's incidence angle. Throughout the aircraft's restoration, the author highlighted the extensive work involved and expressed gratitude for the support from family and friends, emphasizing the significant personal achievement of completing the first flight. Future plans include continuing to improve and eventually flying another aircraft, the Merlin.
