Despite unexpected weather, the pilots embarked on an exhilarating flight, soaring above the clouds and enjoying stunning views. Concerned about worsening conditions, they safely returned home, reminiscing about their extraordinary adventure.

Running the Gauntlet

Stu Simpson and his companions took to the skies for an unforgettable mountain flying adventure. Despite facing strong winds, mechanical issues, and nerve-wracking moments, they successfully navigated the treacherous terrain, marveled at the breathtaking scenery, and returned home safely, realizing their dream of conquering the skies.

RV10 Summer Outings

The summer has been enjoyable, despite busy work schedules. Highlights included a canceled trip to Three Forks due to severe weather, followed by a successful journey to Oshkosh with a friend. Family day trips to Invermere and Crawford Bay provided fun swimming and beach experiences, showcasing the joy of flying and adventure together.

CAVU Dreams (2011-10)

September was filled with enjoyable flying experiences, including a successful "Fly for Pie" event that raised $305 for the COPA Freedom-to-Fly Fund, featuring various aircraft. Despite weather challenges, the postponed COPA for Kids day proceeded well. Additionally, work resumed on the Buttercup plane, tackling landing gear installation difficulties.
