From the Cockpit (2011-12)

As my term as club president ends with Christmas, I reflect on our journey and the enjoyable experiences with CRUFC. We've enhanced our presence online and welcomed new members, but continuous promotion of our passion for flying remains vital. I'm grateful for both current and past executives, and look forward to future adventures together.

From the Cockpit (2011-07)

The summer season is thriving with various events, including fly-in breakfasts, the Arlington air show, and upcoming ones like Oshkosh and the Lethbridge air show on July 23-24. A tower tour at Springbank is scheduled for August 11. Although regular meetings are paused, members are encouraged to visit flying fields.

CAVU Dreams (2008-10)

September was an exciting month marked by record heat and successful flights, including a first venture into mountain flying. The author resumed studies for an AME license, focusing on aircraft maintenance skills, such as soldering. Additionally, the decision to install a 406 ELT in an aircraft reflects compliance with evolving regulations.
