If you are interested in low cost flying and fun…. then the CRFCYYC may be just for you. We are an active group of people who meet regularly to fly together and of course socialize together. If you are interested in purchasing an airplane or better yet “building” your own airplane, the club has multiple resources to help you. Perhaps you’ve always wanted to learn how to fly? Well… we have contacts to help you with that also. All in all, the CRFCYYC is a fun place to be and we are always looking towards new adventure’s on the horizon!
History of the Club
The Calgary Recreational Flying Club YYC started in the mid 1980′s as small group of flyers passionate about airplanes and flying. It has grown to over 100 members and is nationally affiliated with COPA . (Canadian Owners and Pilots Association)

Club Meetings
Our members meet on the second Wednesday of each month, except July and August, at the Aerospace Museum: 4629 McCall Way Northeast Calgary @ 1900.
Meetings start at 7:00 PM but most of us show up around 6:30 just to exchange stories. Guests and visitors are always welcome.
