Tomorrow, departing for Bathurst N.B., we have about 4hrs of flying before us. Weather looks good until Ottawa, then expect to dodge thunderstorms. Hoping for high enough ceilings to navigate. Planning to fly the Lake Ontario shoreline, stop in Trois Rivière, then get clearance from Boston Centre to go over Maine or follow the river. Exciting day ahead!

The flight from Thunder Bay to Sudbury had good weather with lower visibility near Marathon due to moisture. The 2.5-hour flight included map reading, staying low for safety, and no flight following. The trip ended with a pleasant visit with relatives. The decision to skip Kenora due to weather and fuel cost was deemed wise.
Troy Branch reported a smooth flight at 9500 ft, 182kts over ground, avoiding lightning. With a brief stop in Thunder Bay, the total flight covered 980 nm. Tomorrow, a visit to relatives in Sudbury is planned.

The planned trip to Disneyland faced multiple setbacks due to the children's illnesses and inclement weather. After overcoming various challenges during travel, including fever and rough flying conditions, the family ultimately missed Disneyland again. The experience taught the importance of prioritizing health and flexibility in planning. Future trips will be scheduled only when everyone is well.
