COPA for Kids

The club's COPA for Kids Day on June 1st at Chestemere Kirkby Field was a success, with clear weather enhancing the experience for 44 children introduced to flying. Nine pilots and volunteers organized the event, which left kids and parents enthusiastic and grateful, highlighting the joy and accessibility of aviation.

The Calgary Recreational and Ultralight Flying Club hosted its annual COPA for Kids Day on October 2 at Chestermere Kirkby Field, providing 32 children their first flying experience in various aircraft. Supported by seven pilots and seventeen staff, the event was enjoyable for both kids and volunteers, leaving lasting memories for families involved.

Polish Aviation Museum
